Washed Up

After an exhausting day, I jumped off the bus and felt the cold air hit my face and blow my hair up. I took a deep breath and started walking towards home, the day had ended, it went good, a normal day, everything in order, easy I started walking through the well-lit parking of the supermarket and turned in the end taking the dark street ahead of me that was illuminated only by a few street lights and moved towards home.

Suddenly a drop caressed my face and I smiled softly, it felt good, refreshing then I thought if it started raining I could get wet, but I was close to home, a 10 minute walk at most, so kept on walking feeling the tiny drops giggling when they danced into my face hearing the soft tempo they made when they fell on top of a car, that almost drum-like sounds everywhere.

Then the wind blew harder and I felt my jacket rising behind me but I didn’t even bothered on closing up the zipper. I kept walking, feeling the soft rain falling on me on that cold night. It felt good.

I felt the little soft stream of water running down my face from my cheek down to my neck and into my chest and sliding down. Then the wind pushed my hair up and I pulled it back. My shirt was soaking wet and I could feel the water drenching me as I kept moving.

Softly drops started falling down on my hair and caressed my skin as they rolled down on me. I feel my heart pounding hard and the ground beneath my feet becomes so soft as I start walking through an unpaved part. My movements become slower then I look up at the sky and see the drops falling down into my face.

Time seems to stop as I keep on walking, feeling the water covering me. All wrapped around me my soul seems to merge with the liquid and I feel the shaking within me it was exciting. Feeling nature so part of me, a part that seemed to be forgotten was there, wild, untouched, roaring to be released.

A soft moan escaped from me as I kept on moving feeling the water stir from my sleeves. I was alone, but I was part of everything, a warm feeling started boiling within me and I felt the urge to arrive to the park close at home, so I headed that way.

When I arrived the scent of the wet herbs and ground made my fantasies take flight and I moved slowly through the trees and plants caressing them softly feeling the rain pouring over the park and everything in it. It was delicious and intoxicating, refreshing and empowering, exciting and relaxing. I pressed my back against a tree and took a deep breath feeling it fill myself from within then a deep soft slow moan came out of me as my mind got drunk in delight.

There I remained for a few minutes all soaking wet until I realized it was time to go back to reality, I turned around and looked at a place so close at home that however took me so far away into that delicious, liberating and delightful experience and I just wanted to never end, but it was there for me, so close and so free. A path to walk away from routine and reality into fantasy and magic. A space that mixed the imagination with reality and stunned the senses while they boost into maximum just to ignite the flame of passion within the deepness of soul itself…
